Windows phone markets reveled.

Microsoft has done a decent job in growing Windows Phone into the third largest smartphone operating system. Yes, if we compared it in numbers against Android and iOS, there is still a lot of growing to do, but with all the improvements we se on Windows Phone 8.1, that should only be a matter of time. If you’re curious to know in which countries Windows Phone excels in the most, the results are in.
AdDuplex is usually in charge of providing monthly stats of how specific Windows Phone devices are doing in certain markets. In this occasion, the company decided to use their ad-based metric system in order to measure how many Windows Phones are active around the world, and which countries have more Windows Phones than others. The US topped the chart at 11%, followed by India at 7.5%, and then by Brazil at 6.9%. The list actually includes the top 20 countries in the world, so have a look at the chart to see how Microsoft’s mobile OS is doing in your area.
These stats are not exact, as AdDuplex uses ads to measure consumption data, but it does give us a good idea of how Windows Phone is doing. As Windows Phone continues to expand to emerging markets, these figures should see some slight change eventually.
