Google updates Chrome for iOS, brings Handoff among other features

Google has been working hard on bringing Material Design updates to its mobile applications, and these changes aren’t really focused on its in-house platform. In addition to the Android updates, we’ve seen Google bring these same changes iOS, and we also see rumors of more to come. A new major change has arrived to one of Google’s iOS apps today, and this time it’s major.
iOS users may stick to Safari for many things, but Google Chrome has also proven do a great job on iOS. Today’s app update is for Google Chrome, and in addition to bringing its famous Material Design elements, we also see the app providing support for major features like Handoff. Now you can start browsing on your phone and continue on your computer, or vice versa. Google also claims up to 50% data savings when navigating on the browser, something important for all of us on a limited data plan. The rest of the updates include better integration with the new Google Translate features, etc.
The update, as with almost everything Google is free and now available, so get it while it’s hot.
