Apple began preorders for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus on Friday, and so far, sources claim that Apple has sold a staggering 20 million units. What’s more shocking is that the source claims that just one retail location was able to sell 10 million devices on its own, a figure we find hard to believe, but that could be possible since its one of China’s largest malls. Official stats haven’t been provided on which device sold most, but the report claims that there is a very tight split between both devices, since bigger smartphones are very popular in Asia.
Official sales for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus begin this Friday in China, and if things continue to sell at this rate, China will easily surpass the United States as the iPhone’s biggest market. We should learn more about this on Apple’s event this Thursday.
