iPhone 6 in mass production ?

We’re just a couple of weeks away from the rumored Apple event where the company is supposed to unveil its latest and greatest iPhone 6,or at least one of them. As such, we have a ton of conflicting rumors regarding the final details in the device’s design, and the stage at which it currently is in its manufacturing process. Rumors point to the device hitting store shelves on September 19th, and judging by some of the latest reports, that might be right.
Asian sources claim that the iPhone 6 is currently hitting its “product validation testing.” This is the last test before the device enters mass production, and is used mainly to detect potential issues in the production cycle. During this milestone, a batch of iPhone 6 units is produced in order to fine tune the assembly line, and ensure product quality.
Sadly the report doesn’t provide any details as to how many iPhone 6 models are reaching this milestone, so it could be that we’re just talking about the 4.7-inch model. The next batch of iPhone 6 leaks should show us something closer to what customers will purchase in the next month or so.
