It looks like LG’s G3-look-alike G Vista smartphone could be ready to go for launch. The phone, which has seen itself leaked in photos and a spec listrecently, isn’t exactly the highest-end piece of hardware, but that doesn’t mean it could be a compelling mid-range package for some. If information obtained by @evleaks is to be believed, the Verizon LG G Vista release date could come this week.
The leaked specs pegged the phone as a decent candidate in the 2014 smartphone market, as it allegedly features a Qualcomm MSM8926 (Snapdragon 400?) with an unknown clock speed, a 5.7-inch 720p display, 1.5 GB of RAM, 8GB of storage, and an 8MP rear camera module (the front-facing companion supposedly is a 1.3MP unit).
A beefy 3,200 mAh battery and a build of Android 4.4, KitKat, will also be around, suggested the leaked specs list.
The only bit of information added today was a possible LG G Vista release date — this phone could go on sale this Friday, July 18. We’ll be on the lookout for it when the date comes around, and will bring you any official news (or more rumors and leaks) as it all unfolds.
