iPhone 6 Apple logo to act like an notification LED ?

We’ve ran across a couple of interesting leaks regarding the iPhone 6 over the last couple of weeks. Some of these show us an iPhone 6 with the rear Apple logo cut out in order to allow therumored NFC antenna to not be affected, and others point to this logo lighting up like we currently see on Apple’s MacBook line-up. But what if both of these rumors were actually true, and even more important, what if that logo doesn’t just light up for the fun of it?
Some new trusted sources have now leaked some new photos that show us the iPhone 6 back assembly ready to allow for the logo to glow. The source also claims that the module will allow for the NFC chip to fit within, in addition to also having this logo flash for notifications when the phone is on its back. It’s really hard to confirm that last portion of the rumor, as we obviously need to see a working iPhone to actually confirm that it’s true. Still, the idea of having Apple finally embrace a notification light on any iOS product is welcome, and specially since we’ve seen Apple embrace notification lights on its MacBook line-up on things like an external battery indicator for the longest of time.
Rumors still point for both the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 and the 5.5-inch variant to launch this September. We’ll keep you posted as more details emerge.
