Samsung's new patents.

Even though Samsung has won a lot of praise for its AMOLED technology with devices like the Galaxy S5, it’s clear that display technology will only continue evolving. We recently saw just how amazing Assertive Display technology can be on theNokia Lumia 1520 that we reviewed recently, and it seems that Samsung also found it to be quite compelling. The company has just licensed the use of his technology, and rumors have it that we might see some products sporting it soon.
Assertive Display technology adapts the displays lighting conditions to the ambient light, and even to the angle at which you’re looking at the display. This technology also proves to be better at power consumption, even though AMOLED displays are already quite famous. Rumors have it that Samsung plans to include this technology on the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, and if the company plans to merge this with its current AMOLED technology, this could be one of the smartest combinations in the industry.
Sadly the only bad part is that the press release is specific to mentioning availability to Exynos processors, which makes this complicated for some variants of the Galaxy Note 4. It’s hard to predict how things will evolve, so keep a close eye to more rumors, as hopefully Samsung will figure this out for the Snapdragon variants as well.
