HTC m8 to get new colour options ?

 C

HTC’s One M8 has three main color options: gray, silver, and gold. Back in May, though, we saw a pair of new selections emerge. There was that new red One M8, which after first going up for sale in Taiwan has subsequently spread to availability in the States. There was also the new Sprint Harman/Kardon edition, which sported a two-tone black/champagne look. That latter option (or, at least, a tweaked design based on it) might be flirting with the idea of broader distribution, as a newly leaked image appears to show the One M8 in black.
But is this something new? Compare that leaked pic above to the Harman/Kardon M8 below, and you’ll see they look nearly identical. The only thing really missing is the Harman/Kardon logo down at the bottom – well, that and all the FCC logo fine print stuff.
That leaves us asking ourselves a few questions. Could this just be a Harman/Kardon M8 with that text polished off (or grabbed from the factory before it could be applied in the first place)? And assuming this is real, what does it look like around front? Is this another two-tone black/champagne design, or could the front be black to match? While we suppose that the former would appeal to some shoppers, the idea of a wholly new color option is a lot more interesting, so we’re curious to learn if the latter is closer to what’s really happening here.
