New Nokia 636 and 638 Launched For China.

The affordable phone looks to be one of the biggest trends of 2014, with offerings from companies likeHTC and Motorola having caught our eye. Windows Phones have also been leading the pack in terms of low-priced offerings, with a multitude of them coming in at less than $100. These latest two aren’t quite that cheap, but come in at more affordable prices than most of today’s flagships nonetheless.
Both the Lumia 636 and 638 phones are powered by the latest iteration of Microsoft’s mobile operating system, Windows Phone 8.1. Their differences don’t become apparent even when we talk specs — a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 SoC, 5MP rear-firing camera, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, 1830 mAh battery, 4.5-inch Gorilla Glass 3 LCD display, and 4G LTE capabilities are to be found within both.
The only difference between the models is availability, as the Lumia 636 will be launching on China Unicom, while the Lumia 638 will make its way to China Mobile. The 636 will be available on July 21, while the 638 will go up for sale on July 5.
