Microsoft may not have the most popular cloud storage service in the market, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t offer one of the best services. The company has just decided to up the ante in its competition with Google, and that new strategy has begun today with a significant boost to OneDrive.
As of next month, free OneDrive users will receive a boost from 7GB to 15GB of free storage, which matches the same offering that Google Drive users receive. And for those of you still on the ropes trying to decide about Office 365, well Microsoft is now including a crazy 1TB of OneDrive storage for those who pay the monthly subscription. Storage tiers are also seeing some price drops as $7.49 would previously buy you 100GB of OneDrive, and now you can have that same storage space for just $2.99, and where 200GB now costs just a dollar more.
Now remember this is just an announcement today, so expect the changes to roll out in the next coming weeks.
