Galaxy S5 mini around the corner.

There is no doubt about it: the Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini will make an appearance, sooner or later. Every year, Samsung releases a Mini version of its flagship. However, there’s little in common between the siblings, aside from the Mini (which is not so mini in most cases) trying to capitalize on the flagship’s name. Usually, while the phone resembles the flagship, its specs are modest.
This year, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini will be available starting mid-July, according to a recent report. It is expected to pack a 4.5-inch 720p display, Exynos 3 Quad (Exynos 3470) SoC running at 1.4GHz, 1.5GB of RAM, 8-megapixel camera, and a 2.1-megapixel front-facer. Judging by the amount of leaks we’ve seen in the past couple of weeks, mid-July sounds credible; the S4 Mini (pictured above) was also announced in July of last year.
