When we reviewed the Nokia Lumia Icon earlier this year, I called it the “best Windows Phone yet.” Michael thought I was being dramatic … until he had a go with the phone himself, in which he called it “Verizon’s first great Windows Phone.”
Last week, Michael published our review of the Xperia Z2 from Sony and said it’s “worth every penny.” That’s a tall claim in a world where several of what many consider the best Android phonesaround can be had for around half the price.
No less, we thought it would be fitting to compare what we’ve found to be two of the most high-end, well-rounded, compelling, smartphones of 2014. Not to mention, both of these phones come with incredible image sensing chops.
