Typing On Google Glass.....

Google Glass is still one of those products that many of us want to love, but that isn’t really reaching the appeal that Google would want from it. So far, it’s a product that’s cool to have, but that hasn’t proven to be quite useful since you can only interact with it through your voice in limited ways. The cool thing is to see developers hard at work in giving Glass the extra functionality it needs, and today we see its first keyboard.
The Minuum keyboard has proven to be quite the thing for Android. It’s a complete paradigm shift in the way keys are staggered, and how well it can predict what you’re typing with a couple of taps, and now its next frontier is Google Glass. It’s now available for those of you interested, and even though it does seem quite cumbersome at the moment, there is a lot of future in this project.
At the moment, to select keys you have swipe and tap all around, which makes you naturally move your head around. Definitely not the best way to type if you’re on the go, but the end of the video does show us where this product is headed. It seems that the future of this Minuum keyboard includes your ability to portray the keyboard in a surface like your arm and type, which would definitely be a more useful way. Let’s hope this can actually become a feature in the near future.
