Even though the Moto X didn’t reach its goal of taking the world by storm, it did prove that customers want more than just gigantic displays and crazy specifications that don’t deliver. Many of us in the tech world fell in love with this phone, even with its shortcomings, and it’s hard not to admit that we’re already waiting for the Moto X+1 that’s already being rumored.
Famous tipster @evleaks is at it again, this time giving us some additional leaks of what to expect. First of all, the codename of the Moto X+1 is apparently Victara, which is hard to define, but could be assumed is synonymous to “victorious” in some language, just like Victor is in certain languages. The leak also points to the fact that the device is planned to be sold on all four major US carriers.
At this point we sadly don’t know if the device will retain the same design as the Moto X and just boost specs, or if we should also worry about an exclusive deal with any US carrier for Moto Maker. Whatever the case may be, let’s hope Motorola does land a hit with this phone whenever it gets gets launched.
