Another week, another leaked Samsung Android phone to feast our eyes on. Thanks to GFXBench, this week that phone is the Galaxy E7 (SM-E700), as a recent Samsung Galaxy E7 specs leak has left very little up in the air about the midranger phone.
The device now has a full Info section on GFXBench, rattling off many of the specs we crave. There’s a 720p 5.5-inch display, a quad-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 system on a chip (with Adreno 306 GPU), about 2GB of RAM, roughly 12GB of free storage, and just about a 13MP camera with 1080p video recording included as well. The front camera should be about 5MP, also with 1080p video recording abilities.
Currently, the Galaxy E7 is running a build of Android 4.4.4 KitKat, though it’s possible a Lollipop update could be in order before it goes official. Overall, the phone is shaping up to be a decent competitor as a midrange phone going into 2015. For this phone though, it may very well be price which determines all as far as success in the market goes.
There’s no word on a launch currently, but don’t expect to see one too far from now, considering all the leaks.
