Facebook for Windows Phone will get a major update today, according to official word from Microsoft. If you’re using a phone powered by Microsoft’s mobile OS, and are an avid Facebook user, you should be on the lookout for an update which will bring a new, fresh look, as well as features which were previously available in the Beta version of the app.
The performance of the app will also be improved in this new version, and users will be able to upload videos taken with the device directly to from the app. Additionally, if you’re running Windows Phone 8.1, the new Facebook app will connect with the People Hub.
