There’s no such thing as too many phones, at least for Samsung. One of the devices allegedly in the pipeline of the South Korean OEM is the Galaxy Mega 2, another ginormous phablet pushing the limits of screen size beyond anything that would have been normal a few years ago. This being a bit of a mid-range device doesn’t mean that some nice specs aren’t present. Read on to check out the full leaked list of Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 specs.
First and foremost, let’s talk about the display. A 5.9-inch 720p panel will allegedly be featured, meaning the pixel density… won’t be too impressive. The CPU is a Qualcomm-based 1.2 GHz quad-core chip, while the GPU is the Adreno 306. It has 2GB of RAM, with 5.1GB of storage available — depending on how heavy the TouchWiz skin on this thing is, that could either mean 8 or 16GB will be the full capacity of the phone’s storage space.
The rear camera is 12MP with 1080p video recording, and it’s backed by a 4.7MP front-facer (also with 1080p video capabilities). The OS is Android 4.4.3, though it’s possible that it could get kicked up to 4.4.4 before a possible launch.
Depending on what you want in a phone, this could either be an atrocity or just the right thing. Let us know which one it is down in the comments below, and check the full list of Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 specs out in the embedded image.
