The Nokia Camera has gained a lot of popularity for being one of the best smartphone camera apps in the market. In addition to giving you full manual controls of your smartphone, it’s also done a great job in keeping itself updated. Microsoft has just launched update version 4.8.1.1, and the changes are mostly to match the official Nokia Camera app with its previous beta:
- Improved Inline Video Playback in Camera Roll
- Improved Living Images Playback in Camera Roll
- Improved Focus Indicator on devices with Continuous Autofocus
- Other Bug fixes and Improvements
One very interesting change that we’re also noticing is that even though Microsoft still launched this app as the “Nokia Camera,” that name might not last long. If you dig within the settings of the app, you’ll notice that it’s already being dubbed as the Lumia Camera, which is something that we’ve noticed that Microsoft has been doing with Nokia services ever since the acquisition became final.
The update should be available for your device at the moment, but if you’re having trouble getting the alert, hit our source link for the update, or hit the second link if you want some more beta fun.
