Yesterday evening we brought you some… well, for lack of a better word, weird-looking pics of a Motorola handset. While this was supposedly the X+1 (albeit obscured by a bulky case) it really didn’tlook that much like the phone that had recently appeared in a number of videos. The render revealed a comparatively large rear camera lens, yet appeared to show no trace of a front-facer. And with no flash, this seemed more like a super low-end model than anything that might fill the shoes of the Moto X. We still might not have any hard answers, but this morning some new information emerges, as @evleaks releases a larger document featuring this same unusual render.
The copy describes this case as fitting the Motorola Victata, which is a codename we first heard about a month back, also in reference to the Moto X+1.
We now get to see that these are Incipio-made cases (explaining the cloned-out logo from yesterday’s leak), and while the dimensions provided make enough sense for a Moto X sequel, we can’t really extrapolate those to the exact size of the phone itself.
Admittedly, seeing this as part of a seemingly official Verizon accessory sheet (just like that LG “G Vista” one we recently looked at) has us resting a little easier, but we’re still quite unsure about precisely what we’re seeing here, and are starting to worry that there are multiple Motorola devices in development that we’ve been lumping together under the X+1 banner, when they’re more properly distinct handsets.
