There has been a lot of back and forth regarding the existence of a Nexus 6 this year, ever since Android Silver popped up on the radar. Some of us think, and many agree, that there is a real need for a Nexus 6 this year, despite Android Silver. While some think that there might be no Google phone at all, other reports claim that there will indeed be one, regardless of Silver, or Nexus.
What seems to be sure, is that LG won’t be making it, so it seems, at least if Ken Hong, LG’s Communications Director is to be believed.
“I know at least not yet. Normally, we were informed. This can mean two things. Either I was ignored, or we will not make it (the Nexus)”.
The report also continues with mentions of Ken Hong not necessarily feeling sorry for the fact that Google might have been collaborating with another phone-maker. At the moment, it is not know who will be making the 2014 Google phone, or whether a Nexus 6 is in the cards to begin with.
