LG G3 INTERNATIONAL RELEASE DATES.

It’s coming up on a month now since LG first announced its G3 flagship. Sales of the smartphone began almost immediately, with South Korea getting first crack at G3 sales, but they’ve been slow to spread beyond the nation. That’s left us turning to rumors and speculation to try and work out the release schedule for the phone abroad, including when it might come to carriers in the US – the official word there has been little more specific than just “summer.” Today LG steps up and starts being helpful, sharing news of global G3 distribution getting underway later this week.
Starting this coming Friday, June 27, the G3 will move beyond South Korea to enter sales in a number of Southeast Asian countries, before expanding to the rest of Asia, Europe, and the Middle East sometime in July.
That’s quite good to know, but we can’t help but notice the glaring omission here: no specific mention of US sales. The best we can come up with is LG’s description of unspecified “other regions” when detailing markets the G3 will come to in July. Considering the leaks we’ve seen pointing to US carrier sales beginning in mid July, it might be safe to assume that’s just what LG is talking about here, even if it’s being just a little coy about it.
Who’s looking forward to the G3′s arrival? Has that launch-day enthusiasm worn off by now, or are you still excited to get the chance to finally buy this guy?
