Lg G watch specs.

The first Android Wear smartwatches are coming soon, and alongside Motorola and its Moto 360, LG will help lead the charge with its own G Watch. We’ve had more than a few opportunities to look at the wearable, and recently we’ve started hearing specific details about its hardware. While we only had a few sparse tidbits to go by earlier, a new leak attempts to open the book on the G Watch, detailing its components in some detail.
Let’s start with the battery, as that’s often a big concern for smartwatches. According to this, the G Watch will arrive with a 400mAh lithium polymer battery. With 11ma of current draw while the smartwatch is in standby mode, that gives it a maximum battery life of just over 36 hours – though any real usage will drive that figure down. Apparently, a full charge will be possible in under two hours.
The watch is supposed to measure a hair under 10mm thick, with a face that’s 37.9mm x 46.5mm. Its display is revealed here to have a 280 x 280 resolution and measure 1.65 inches diagonally – that’s a density of 240ppi if you’re keeping track. The G Watch should offer 4GB internal storage and have 512MB of RAM.
We had already heard that the G Watch might run a Snapdragon 400, and here it’s confirmed as an APQ8026 – not the MSM8226 rumored, but apparently a 400 nonetheless.
We also get to see a list of features, and while it mentions expected things like support for voice commands being used to compose memos or send text messages, there are some features marked as missing that we wouldn’t have planned for; for instance, this indicates that the G Watch won’t have support for instant messaging, leaving us wondering what Google’s intentions are for Android Wear and Hangouts.
Separately, a new rumor suggests that the G Watch will make it into the Google I/O goodie bag this year, and that a third OEM may bring along an Android Wear watch design to show off at the conference.
Update: Some possible release info has surfaced, with claims that the G Wear will go up for sale in the UK on July 7 and will undercut the Gear 2 Neo when it comes to pricing.
