Though the LG G Watch is currently a Bluetooth-only device (though a cellular-supporting version may be on the way), it’s understandable that carriers want to stock the device as an accessory for their phones. To that effect, AT&T has already announced its intentions to stock the G Watch, and a new report mentions that a G Watch Verizon debut could be in the cards.
We aren’t thinking that this will be a cellular-supporting version of the watch — that’s rumored to only grace South Koreans. It won’t have Verizon Wireless bloatware either, and that is a confirmed fact. The unadulterated Android Wear experience can be had by any of Big Red’s customers willing to pony up the cash.
Speaking of cash, it would seem reasonable that Verizon may want to mark up the G Watch, though that hasn’t been confirmed in the slightest as of yet. We’ll keep you updated about any details regarding a possible G Watch Verizon launch.
