International roaming rates fall in Europe.

If you are based in Europe, chances are that you often find yourself in another country, while your phone picks up a foreign carrier’s signal, and roams. While international roaming costs are still high enough, the European Commission is trying to further lower rates, until, eventually, these will be completely cleared.
Starting July 1, European international roaming costs will drop more than 50% from last summer. Data is getting the biggest cut, one of 55.5%, from 45 cents per MB to 20 cents per MB. A text message will cost 6 cents instead of 8, while for receiving a call you’ll pay 5 cents per minute instead of 7, last year. Making a call will set you back 19 cents per minute, instead of 24 previously. You can read more on the rates, as well as further steps to eliminate international roaming costs altogether, at the source link below.
