Microsoft’s vision of Facebook on your mobile device is oddly still in beta, which doesn’t necessarily mean that there wasn’t an official version, but which is far superior. If you remember Joe Belfiore’s recent teaser on Reddit of what to expect for the future of Facebook on Windows Phone, everything that was promised is now a reality. Microsoft has just launched version 5.3.0.1 (8.3.0.1) for both Windows Phone 8 and Windows Phone 8.1 respectively, and the changes are worth your time.
The new update to Facebook beta includes an updated design, which aside from being more visually appealing, is also quite more usable than the previous version. This update also includes improvements in performance, aside from giving you the ability to share video (finally!), and also the fact that other languages are now supported (finally!). The update looks quite like what we currently see on Android, which is definitely not a bad thing.
Make sure you give it a try and share your experience in the comments down bellow.
