The whole popularity of the Galaxy Note line-up has proven that there is a market for people that want a smarter stylus to interact with our mobile devices, and Microsoft has done great leaps to make it a standard for decades. The company claims that it worked on three key areas with the new pen: accuracy, latency and pressure sensitivity. The Surface Pro 3 is within 0.5mm 98% of the time, giving you much higher accuracy than previous models, or some competing devices. When it comes to latency, the company worked on software optimizations to decrease the time it takes for you to see the digital ink, though this obviously this will also depend on third-party applications. When it comes to pressure sensitivity, the Surface Pro 3 pen gives you 256 different levels of pressure sensitivity, which is useful for drawing and painting.
