The LG G Flex is a unique phone, in many ways: it not only has a curved screen, but the coating on the back has been referred to as “self-healing”, which proved to be true, up to a point, in our real-life torture test. The phone is now getting its KitKat update in South Korea, and the manufacturer is apparently working on a follow-up.
According to @evleaks, you should expect the LG G Flex 2 to arrive around February 2015 (mid-Q1, to be more exact), which might be weeks ahead of the 2015 Mobile World Congress, happening 2-5 March, in Barcelona.
The biggest teaser here is not the date itself though; it looks like LG is prepared to take everyone by surprise with something both new and cool. The leak mentions something “even more unique than self-healing plastic”. What could it be? It is anyone’s guess, so let us know in the comments below. Will it be bendable, shapeable?
