Apple Confirmed Hardware For WWDC.

Apple’s WWDC 2014 event is just around the corner, and the company has already confirmed the specific date and time for the launch keynote. It’s planned to happen from 10AM to 12PM on Monday, June 2nd at Moscone West, as it has for the last couple of years. Surely we’ve seen Apple launch blockbuster products like the iPhone 4 in the last couple of years, but lately WWDC has been a software-focused event. It’s hard to predict if things will change this year, but rumors point to a possibility.
The biggest things to expect at this event are definitely iOS 8, and a more iOS-looking OS X version 10.10. We don’t really focus on products that use OS X, but the fact that there are products being rumored like an iPad Pro that might be running it, do make it an enticing topic. iOS 8 is expected to look the same, but bring additional features to the table like HealthBook, improvements to maps, among other enhancements. There will be a big push geared towards health and fitness, and that’s where rumors kick in.
Credible sources say that we will see hardware at this event. It’s hard to tell if that’s merely improvements to current Apple products, or if this will be the show floor for the iWatch. We do know that this product is far from ready to be launched, but any health and fitness push on iOS 8 is pointless without a wearable. Let’s see where this goes.
