Our European friends toting HTC One M8 phones are receiving an update today to version 1.54.401.10, with several stability improvements, bug fixes, and various other changes.
Most of the changes are things the average user won’t notice much, presumably, because the changelog isn’t the beefiest we have ever seen. The radio, camera, video highlight, and FM radio features have all been made a bit more stable in everyday use, and we cannot complain about that. The full changelog can be seen in the image below.
The update itself is 67MB in size, so folks on tiered data plans may want to consider using a WiFi network to run the update.
This release is the second update the One M8 has received in Europe — the first enabled Extreme Power Saving mode, which oddly wasn’t present on the device at launch.
