Cyanogenmod-11-Logo-AH-1
One of the main reasons a lot of people root their phones and install a custom ROM is for more customization. Which CyanogenMod 11 already provides a ton of customization. But with their newly overhauled theme engine, it provides even more. With the new theme engine, you can go ahead and change the theme, wallpaper, icons, font, boot animation, and so much more. It’s very comprehensive, and a lot better than the old theme engine.
Just last week, Google introduced us to Android L, by giving us a sneak preview at the newest version of Android which will be shipping this fall. This update has a ton of new features, as well as a completely new interface. Matias Duarte has gotten us off of the “HOLO YOLO” bandwagon and introduced Material Design. Which is the new design language Google is using on Android as well as across the web. Which is nice to see. Many of us fell in love with the new look of Android L, and now we have a nice CyanogenMod theme for Android L.
Thanks to XDA-Developers forum user PixCM, we now have an Android L theme for CyanogenMod. So if you’re running CyanogenMod 11 or higher, you can put this theme on your device. Remember to back it up before hand as this is a work in progress and may have some bugs. Features include Flat Design, Coloured action Bars, Themed action bar, buttons, New font, New navigation bar Icons, New Network Indicators, New wallpaper, New keyboard [Removed in v2], Themed Calculator, New colors in each app, New bootanimation, Notification sound from L release, Ringtone from L release, Lockscreen wallpapers, Some more changes, and Transparent SystemUI.
It’s a great looking theme, and I’m sure it’s only going to get better. If you are interested in this one, head over to the source link below and grab your download. Let us know what you think of the theme in the comments down below.
Update: It appears that theme was stolen from someone on Google+ and the thread has been taken down. See here. We updated the source links with the correct theme.
